Unlike Amazon and Walmart Marketplace,\u00a0Target Plus\u00a0partners are\u00a0exclusively\u00a0invited\u00a0to\u00a0sell products on the platform.\u00a0\u00a0By carefully selecting which\u00a0merchants\u00a0to host on Target Plus,\u00a0Target is taking measures to ensure that any third-party item listed\u00a0for consumers\u00a0to purchase\u00a0is authentic,\u00a0high-quality, and\u00a0compliant\u00a0with\u00a0stringent\u00a0product standards.<\/p>\n<p>Target\u2019s commitment to offering\u00a0trusted, curated\u00a0products is\u00a0in response to\u00a0customer\u00a0issues\u00a0with other\u00a0digital marketplaces\u00a0related to\u00a0fraudulent, defective, or otherwise offensive items\u00a0that result in negative customer experiences.\u00a0 Target plans to only onboard a handful of merchants per category.
