Today, Crazy Dog T-Shirts operates out of a 36,000 square-foot facility with close to 50 employees. The company specializes in custom t-shirts and novelty tees, each one printed on ultra-soft, high-quality materials designed to help prevent fading and flaking. If you\u2019ve ever been shown an Instagram ad for a tee that says, \u201cI like coffee and maybe three people,\u201d or have come across a listing for some \u201cworld\u2019s okayest brother\u201d apparel, you\u2019ve encountered Crazy Dog T-Shirts. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

With a wide variety of custom quotes to appeal to different audiences and occasions, the business has been successful. Really <\/em>successful. Customers consistently give Crazy Dog purchases high ratings \u2014 and not just for the quality of the tees, but based on customer service as well. Faster-than-anticipated shipping, accurate sizing and unexpected special offers all appear as positives in product reviews.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

That steady flow of operations may not have always come naturally to Kingston and his team. But once they found the right tools and technology, exceeding consumer expectations became second nature. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Situation<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

As brand recognition grew, it became increasingly difficult for Crazy Dog T-Shirts to keep up with demand. <\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cWe had a strong presence on eBay and Amazon,\u201d explains Digital Marketing Manager Tony Kingston. \u201cBut the market was moving to lots of marketplaces, and we couldn\u2019t keep track of them.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n

With more than a hundred global marketplaces to choose from, just determining which channels would be the best fit for the brand\u2019s catalog was a big challenge \u2014 not to mention getting up and running on each one.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n

After attempting to manage one new marketplace on their own, the team realized they\u2019d need a better solution. The setup was inefficient, and keeping track of so many moving parts was virtually impossible.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n

With a strong core strategy and big visions for future growth, all the company really needed was the right technology. <\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Solution<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Eight years after the first Crazy Dog T-Shirt was sold, the company started leveraging Rithum\u2019s e-commerce platform.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cWhen we were considering different options, we talked with a few different services,\u201d Kingston says. \u201c[Rithum] was the most robust of all the platforms.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n

So the company uploaded its product data, started leveraging integrations and began expanding to new marketplaces.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cTo manage thousands of SKUs on 20 different platforms is impossible,\u201d Kingston explains. \u201cRithum allows us to use one SKU. [We] make one change on one product and have it affect all 20 marketplaces at once, which is phenomenal.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n

In addition to relying on Rithum to manage multiple marketplaces and stay ahead of emerging trends, Crazy Dog T-Shirts leverages the platform\u2019s <\/span>ShipStation<\/span><\/a> connection to help streamline fulfillment.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cRithum is the central hub through which everything is done,\u201d Kingston says. \u201cIt\u2019s been important to the point where if people need to look up an image or a UPC number, Rithum is the master record we can default to.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Results<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

With Rithum, Crazy Dog T-Shirts was able to put its core strategy to work and exceed the company\u2019s business goals.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Most recently, the company has been experiencing double-digit growth for eight consecutive months.  <\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cWe would need a lot more manpower to handle our e-commerce platform without Rithum,\u201d Kingston says. \u201cI think we would\u2019ve had a much harder time seeing this level of success.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n

From revamping Amazon keywords to getting in on the ground floor of new and emerging marketplace opportunities, Crazy Dog T-Shirts continues to find all kinds of ways to lean on the platform.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cRithum makes everything run a lot more efficiently than it would otherwise. It\u2019s such a cornerstone of the business, I don\u2019t know what we\u2019d do without it.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Kingston\u2019s advice to other sellers facing similar challenges?<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cIf you have the tech ability to understand the platform, you can leverage it to an amazing extent. Take your time to try to figure out the system and that will pay dividends in the long
