Instead of coming into the store, placing an order and waiting to pick it up later, customers can order their custom car seats and floor mats from the comfort of their own home through the MyCustomCar website.<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{}\">&nbsp;<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">As online sales began to take off in 2018, MyCustomCar started selling on eBay. Selling through third-party (3P) commerce allows the brand to reach a growing audience of online automotive shoppers. Yet, with 250,000 possible SKUs available between vehicle type, seat shape<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\"> and fabric options, manually managing its 4,000 eBay listings became a challenge. Scaling to other marketplaces would require replicating this complex setup.&nbsp;<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{}\">&nbsp;<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><span data-contrast=\"auto\">MyCustomCar also struggled with stock synchronisation, resulting in inaccurate product availability. They&nbsp;needed an integration that could seamlessly synchronise stock between a marketplace and its ERP to prevent overselling and improve the customer experience.<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{}\">&nbsp;<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-addressing-the-challenge\">Addressing the challenge<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p><span data-contrast=\"auto\">MyCustomCar partnered with Rithum for an integrated <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.rithum.com\/brands-suppliers\/commerce-solutions\/marketplaces\/\"><span data-contrast=\"none\">marketplace solution<\/span><\/a><span data-contrast=\"auto\"> that could quickly and efficiently grow the company\u2019s presence on other 3P commerce platforms.<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{}\">&nbsp;<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p><span data-contrast=\"auto\">\u201cRithum came well recommended for its out-of-the-box solution that could launch us on other marketplaces quicker.\u201d <\/span>\u2013 <span data-contrast=\"auto\">Peter Sperling, Owner and Director. \u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<p><span data-contrast=\"auto\">Today, the company has grown its marketplace presence beyond <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.ebay.com.au\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><span data-contrast=\"none\">eBay<\/span><\/a><span data-contrast=\"auto\"> to <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.bunnings.com.au\/bunnings-marketplace\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><span data-contrast=\"none\">Bunnings<\/span><\/a><span data-contrast=\"auto\">, <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.catch.com.au\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><span data-contrast=\"none\">Catch<\/span><\/a><span data-contrast=\"auto\">, <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.kogan.com\/au\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><span data-contrast=\"none\">Kogan<\/span><\/a><span data-contrast=\"auto\">, <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.amazon.com.au\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><span data-contrast=\"none\">Amazon<\/span><\/a><span data-contrast=\"auto\">, and <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.trademe.co.nz\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><span data-contrast=\"none\">Trade Me<\/span><\/a><span data-contrast=\"auto\">. Using Rithum to easily integrate with more channels has helped MyCustomCar grow its business on marketplaces <strong>40% year over year and increase top line revenue<\/strong>.&nbsp;<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{}\">&nbsp;<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><span data-contrast=\"auto\">Now, MyCustomCar can easily monitor its performance on each marketplace. In just five months since launching on Bunnings, MyCustomCar\u2019s sales on the platform match its performance on Amazon. <\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{}\">&nbsp;<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><span data-contrast=\"auto\">\u201cWe\u2019ve achieved tremendous GMV growth on Australian marketplaces,\u201d said Sperling. \u201cBunnings has surprised us by growing in just a few months to the same size as our Amazon presence, where we have been&nbsp;for over two years.\u201d<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{}\">&nbsp;<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><span data-contrast=\"auto\">Rithum\u2019s <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.rithum.com\/why-rithum\/services\/managed-services\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><span data-contrast=\"none\">Managed Services for Marketplaces<\/span><\/a><span data-contrast=\"auto\"> has also helped accelerate MyCustomCar\u2019s marketplace sales and improved its selling strategy over time. As an extension of the team, Managed Services fine-tunes MyCustomCar\u2019s feeds to ensure its product content is always accurate, up-to-date and primed to act fast on new opportunities.<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{}\">&nbsp;<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><span data-contrast=\"auto\">\u201cThe team is very professional, responsive and helpful,\u201d said Chrissie Chan, E-Commerce Manager. \u201cResponsiveness is very important to us because sometimes we have urgent needs.\u201d<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{}\">&nbsp;<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-the-results\">The results<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p><span data-contrast=\"auto\">With Rithum, MyCustomCar has grown from selling on one marketplace to six. The company has grown its 3P commerce business 40% year over year and <strong>increased top line revenue 125% in three years.&nbsp;<\/strong><\/span><strong>&nbsp;<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><span data-contrast=\"auto\">Marketplaces play a significant role in the company\u2019s growth, allowing it to sell where more customers are looking. &nbsp;One-third of MyCustomCar\u2019s sales revenue are from third-party (3P) commerce and two-thirds of revenue are from MyCustomCar&#8217;s direct-to-consumer website.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p><span data-contrast=\"auto\">\u201cIf we weren\u2019t working with Rithum, managing our own marketplaces would be painful at an escalating rate. Updating listings in six different places would be a headache.\u201d<\/span> \u2013 Chrissie Chan, E-Commerce Manager<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<p><span data-contrast=\"auto\">Going forward, MyCustomCar hopes to increase its presence in New Zealand through its newly launched website. It is also exploring new selling channels in Australia through the fleet market.&nbsp;<\/span><span
